A Brief Tour of Burlington Square Shopping Mall

Burlington Square is a residential and commercial development located within the Central Business District (CBD) and the modern Bugis and Bencoolen area. Burlington Square contains approximately 179 residential units as well as a shopping centre on the ground floor which will meet many of your daily necessities.

Inside the Shopping Mall

To meet the needs of the residents of the area as well as nearby hotels and apartments, there are some recreational facilities on the fifth floor of the building. These include a swimming pool, tennis court, gymnasium, gazebo, landscape garden, a multipurpose hall, steam bath, BBQ area, etc. For yoga lovers, there is a yoga club on the seventh floor.

The ground floor contains a shopping centre that house various restaurants, bars, and shops, including retail shops, Shine Korea Supermarket, computer, electronic stores and so forth. This will fulfil your daily needs or will complement your shopping with the nearby malls.

Burlington Square is located within the Central Business District and Bugis Office zone. The area remains bustling with students, residents, shoppers, and office workers. As a result, there are many facilities nearby, and a number of restaurants, fast food chains, banks, shopping centres, and other amenities all within easy reach. Some of the more prominent shopping malls nearby Burlington Square are Bugis Junction Shopping Centre, Bras Basah Complex, Bugis Cube, and The Verge. The biggest electronics and computer mall Sim Lim Square is also located just opposite to the Centre.

There are many hotels and resorts as well as tourist attractions nearby, such as the history museum, art museum, and the Fort Canning Park. The National Library is not very far from here too. You will find a large collection of books and electronic media here. There are also cinemas and other entertainment options within a reasonable distance, more notably in the Selegie road which contains several bars and pubs. There are renowned schools, places of worship, hotels, and various commercial and residential buildings nearby.

Getting there

Getting to Burlington Square is very easy. Nearby are many MRT stations like Rochor, Bugis, Little Indian, Bras Basah, Jalan Besar, and Bencoolen. There are a couple of bus stops located opposite of Burlington Square, near Fortune Centre, and opposite to the Prime Centre. Bus services include 23, 48, 57, 66, 67, 170, 851, 960, 980. Parking charge in Burlington Square is a little bit costly as it is counted on per minutes. It is recommended to take public transportation instead of driving.
